Morning itinerary

Normandy D-day guided tour starts at your Paris hotel at 07:00. There will be one stop for coffee and croissants, and then, your guide will provide an introduction into the history of D-day and battle of Normandy. As soon as we arrive in Normandy, you will visit the Pegasus Bridge, one of the three key bridges of the WWII.

Then, the guide will show you the site of Arromanches and what has left from the artificial harbour that made a great contribution into the victory.

After Arromanches, the guide will show you the German coastal artillery fortifications of Longues-Sur-Mer that used to be a part of the Atlantic Wall.

Normandy sightseeing private tour: itinerary in the afternoon

After the lunch, your Normandy beach private tour will resume at the American cemetery of Colleville that spans across 172 acres and has 9387 graves of American soldiers, most of whom died on the D-Day. You will see the Memorial, the Chapel, the wall of Missing and many more. Besides that, you will have a stop at the American Interpretative Center where you will be able to watch films about the war, the D-Day and the debarkation in Normandy.

The next landmark you are about to see is the Omaha Beach, the symbol of American soldiers’ valour.

The final point of the journey will be Pointe du Hoc where the Germans constructed 6 fortifications that were designed to host a battery of 155-mm cannons.

On the return trip to Paris, you will be going past Grandcamp Maisy and the German Cemetery (if there is some time remaining, you can stop there), and at 8 PM, you will be back at your hotel.
