Full-day tour: Monaco and Eze (8 hours)

The first part of the trip is the town of Eze, dating back to the Middle Ages. There are multiple things to admire in Eze. First, it is the panorama of the town and views of the coastline. Second, the Fragonard perfume factory that produces its famous trademark scent. Besides that, the most important landmarks of Eze are the racetrack that was constructed for the Formula One race of Grand Prix, and the old cathedral that is an exact copy of the one featured in the ageless film about Gendarme from Saint-Tropez. There are many art galleries and perfumeries, as well as hanging flowers in the streets. It is quite the opposite of the fashionable shops of Cannes or Nice. Take the photos of the instantly recognisable Saint Jean-Cap Ferrat, and then you will be transported to the next point of the trip.

Then, you will be taken to Monaco, where you will see the main sights of the Principality. The excursion starts at the Japanese Gardens that are situated in the vicinity of the Portier park. The Grimaldi Forum is located nearby, so you will have an opportunity to stop by and take pictures of this marvel of modern design.

Next, the driver will take you to the Monte Carlo Sporting that is not far from Beausoleil (translated as “good sun”). This is a famous venue that holds many public events.

After that, the car will stop at Villa Sauber, where the National Museum of Monaco holds its collections. During its working hours (11:00–19:00 during summer months, 10:00–18.00 during winter months), you can explore its vast collection of paintings, art installations, and celebrities’ rare photos from private collections.

Following that, you will have an opportunity to visit the Monte-Carlo Casino at the Monte-Carlo district. This is one of the most luxurious places on Earth, and expensive cars parked near the casino speak for themselves. If you are feeling hungly, our guide will suggest a lunch or a dinner at the Café de Paris (not included in price). The casino itself was constructed by Charles Garnier, who had also designed the Paris Opers, and is embellished with gold and marble.

The next waypoint is the Grimaldi street, where the headquarters of many business enterprises are located. The car drives past the street and brings you to the Monaco Oceanographic Museum, constructed in the beginning of the XXth century under the supervision of the Prince of Monaco himself. More than 6000 sea creatures have been carefully preserved over the years in enormous fish tanks, with corals brought from the real reefs, and a family of sharks that inhabit a specially constructed lagoon.

After this, the car will drive to the Palace Square (Place du Palais), where every day at noon, the guards change in a spectacular fashion similar to the British Change of Guard. You will have some time to visit the small streets and alleys of the Ville and take some pictures of the landscape.

The tour continues at the Rose garden of Princess Grace, where heat-loving plants blossom at different seasons of the year. Can you distinguish all 150 species of roses growing in the garden?

Next, the driver takes you to the Fontvieille district, constructed over the water, overlooked by the Louis II Stadium. Its unusual rectangular architecture stands out among other stadiums.

The final point is the Albert I boulevard where the race of the Formula 1 Grand Prix starts (do not forget to take pictures of the race track and the cars).
